What state was he born in? do you know if he was adopted within the same state? Depending on the state his BC# may have changed. Some state info is readily available to search angel on the internet. DO NOT PAY ANYONE FOR ANYTHING. too many free searchers with the same info.

Register with isrr.net (not! .com) &
registry.adoption.com
g's adoption registry
any state sponsored registries as well as state specific registeries.
If you know the agency/state, request to have a letter of consent to contact put in his file as well as your file! If he requests info about you info will reach people faster.

It is possible that at the age of 2 he may have the same 1st name, or just a slightly different spelling. Middle name most likely changed.

You could try putting his first name and date of birth and state into the following location to see if you get any hits to follow up on.

peoplefinders.com (do not pay for the service unless you can not locate address and phone numbers on free sites such as zabasearch.com & whitepages.com)

Don't forget to search sites such as classmates.com/ reunion.com/ myspace etc etc.

If you can prove that he is in fact your birth brother, you should be able to visit your local
health department and speak to someone there.
There is also what's called an Adoption Registry that you can sign up with, I don't have the address off hand but the health dept. may have that info too. I am adopted, and I have also adopted out a son years ago. I added myself to this registry back then , in case he ever tried to find me later in life.
Try those two options. You may need to speak with a lawyer for the Legal rights of all of this too. He has a right to privacy.
