people, places and things can destroy you, IF you let them.you need to speak to a qualified person as a sounding board to ensure that you are not mistaken and being over suspicious about the subtle mind games you talk about.the simple answer is to forgive all those who wronged in the past.you may need to do this repeatedly ever day if nessary until your resentment of them diminishes substantially .YOU must not harbor a grudge, nor nurse resentment.you will simply squander away hours that might be otherwise spent productively.if some one is mistreating you pray that god Will bless them, but try to avoid them until you have mastered praying for them.its the only thing that truly works, but it could take several months or in some extreme cases several years. to take a therupitic effect (.a godly cleric will do more good than a Harley st medical doctor).good luck and remember, only a fool cherishes a grudge. i suggest that you look up Joyce Meyer s website to develop healthy attitudes, and positive self esteemed i hope you don't squander the the rest of your life resenting people who may have a much worse sickness than yours and don't know it.resentment is corrosive to the soul.

Hi hon... some of this is typical of BPD. I read your other question earlier, too.

There are many BPD forums and websites for information, advice and SUPPORT!

You could do a yahoo search for BPD, BPD SELF HELP, BPD SUPPORT.

Talk with the therapist about the anger issues and how you carry them with you. It's something which takes a lot of work, but you can get past it (although feelings may come up from time to time).

It takes some work, but we all need to realize the paople who antagonize and provoke are a little "nutty" and lack compassion. We can't control what others do or say, but we CAN realize what others think really doesn't matter in the scheme of things.

hugs

You can do it,but it requires work. Rational Emotional Therapy I believe is a good way to rethink your responses to outside stimuli. It takes time.. You might not do it over night or in six months. You change your response to events or these people that upset you.. Your responses in the past were learned too. So you can change.. It just takes Time. l would look up Albert Ellis. He has some books.. I believe he passed away last year, but this therapy approach is something he taught. In the beginning, take it five minutes at a time, then 30 minutes etc.. you might have some falling off where you revert back to your anger, but don't worry, again, it takes time to change. Good luck.

Where I live, we have what is called Anger Management Programs. They are for anyone and are very helpful. You learn how to deal with anger in a positive and constructive way. Do you have similar programs near you?
You said you have a traumatic and abusive past. This is going to take time to heal, to forgive, to realise that none of it was your fault and to move on. Disassociate yourself from people who provoke you. You don't need friends like that. What sport do you like? Join a club where you can participate in that sport. Join boxing or go to a gym where you can beat your frustrations out on a punching bag.

lefantome, this is a type of persecution going on in the United States today against christians. Years ago they were burned at the stake.

If you will read in Revelation 12 where the woman (who is a type of the true church) fled into the wilderness from the dragon . There was a flood after her. If you look up that word in the original Greek that word means "words". Slander , etc.

There is a saying sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never harm me. This is not true. People wound and assasinate with their tongue.. it is a form of mental abuse.

Very difficult to combat. People are justified and condemned
by their words.

We are in a spiritual warfare and it is one of words.

They overcame by the blood of the Lamb....Just ask the Lord to cover you with The shed blood of Jesus. It is just as powerful today as it was the day it was shed for you and I on Calvary...the weapons of your warfare are mighty thru God pulling down strongholds of the devil. It is by faith in the shed blood of JESUS that you will win your victory over your enemies...Read the 37th Psalm and see what happens to them. God Bless.

I thought you wrote that you are isolated and stay home pretty much a lot of the time. Which people are taunting you and playing mind games with you? Or, are you talking about online people. You are hard to follow with what you say sometimes.
