The religious belief systems seem to channel and shape
supernatural phenomena so that they reinforce those religious beliefs. Many religious miracles can be compared with poltergeist activity. At the root we have a common phenomenon shaped by an interaction with the human consciousness.
Has anyone heard of this before?
I find it very interesting.
I found this written in a book of Encyclopedia of the unexplained.
For those of you who do not know what Poltergeist means.

I think you are on to something with this. The church will use any form of phenomena to back up their claims, but the fact that poltergeist are just mass builds up of energy, does not exactly fit in with their views of the afterlife. The fact that they are tryin g to pass this off as something spiritual, crys of desperation to me.

Religion has always embraced supernatural phenomena because it is usually the very foundation of religion itself!
From personal experience I can tell you that what is called a poltergeist is the spirit of any entity that hasn't yet adjusted to it's after death environment!
Any writing based on speculation rather than experience is meaningless!

Well, why is every explanation under the sun excepted but GOD? I mean, why are some people so opposed to there being a GOD?

In my experience, the evidence for any and all spiritual or supernatural activity is slim or nonexistent.

It sounds like they're admitting, "You see and hear what you expect to experience." Which is what I'd already figured. It's all in the mind.
