It is always different but in the end my 8 1/2 month old son dies! It is so disturbing to me especially because his father had a daughter (in a previous marraige) who passed away when she was 10 months old. I just don't know why I keep dreaming this and now I am all consumed with EVEN MORE worry for my son's safety and well being. Is it possible these dreams mean something or am I just freaking out over nothing?

I don't believe in dreams actually having any type of subliminal meanings. What I do suspect is that this dream is a result of the tragic experience you're aware of concerning the boy's father and his daughter.
Its every parents worst nightmare (hmmm..fancy that...a 'nightmare') that something befalls your child or children. Lets face it. You're not supposed to outlive your children. This experience has settled in deep into your subconscious. Naturally when you sleep, series of electrical impulses flash and this is one of them. Your mind is a wonderful thing because it has the ability to put things in order so you can have something make sense and then act upon it. When sleeping I believe all these disjointed thoughts all come together. Your brain is trying to place them in some semblance of order and because it doesn't have a 'complete' thought to work with...your brain provided the rest. hence 'nightmares' or pleasant dreams. Or just those weird ones like standing naked in the middle of your job at the office...yet no one seems to notice in the dream except you.

So its just subconscious in your mind bouncing around. Your worst fears...so to speak. So relax. After all...its just a dream. Thank Christ huh?

Sounds like your dream is the way of expressing your subconcious fears.

Subconciously, you are afraid that your child will pass away at 10 months old. Until your son reaches 10 months and 1 day, you may have this particular dream frequently.

Don't worry. As long as you are sure your son is healthy you will be fine. Every mother's worst fear is the death of her child.

You are affected by the fact that your step daughter (so to speaker) died.

That lurked into your subconscious mind that somehow you may be the victim of it too. In other words, you are having this fear in your life and that is why you vent this out in dream.

Sometimes when we discovered of someone's death and that will automatically go into our mind. That is normal especially in your case that is very closed to you.

Don't worry, this will come to pass. Unless your daughter is dying from some sort of disease related to the father. Otherwise, I won't worry about it. Just focus on other stuff, and you will be fine.

You expained everything yourself. Naturally you are concerned because of his previous daughter. You are consuming yourself with worry that there could be a genetic flaw. That is why you are having these dreams.
