Actually, Jesus was quite normal but sober because of His insight to future events. He enjoyed music, children, and his followers follies (to a certain extent). He was foremost, a teacher who taught by example as well as through parables. Under the circumstances, I would say he was cheerful, considering His homeland was occupied by a foreign power. He was determined to fulfill the words of the prophets (even though they sought to take His life) and to offer hope to a condemned world.

Would you say that about a firefighter who died on 9-11? Or someone else who gave up their life so someone else could live? Why are you demeaning that act of ultimate love and compassion?
