I think you're better off not knowing your own future because if you do, you'll change things and create a new future which then negates what you knew in the first place and leads back to the unknown. It's a catch 22 since every seemingly insignificant decision you make on a daily basis carves out what your future holds.

I have a hard time believing someone is always 100% psychic. I do believe people have premonitions but to channel it on demand seems too far fetched. Although I will leave open the possibility that there is the rare true one that all the bads make look bad.

Most "psychics" base thier 'talent' on Astrology which does seem to show some correlation between your birth date and the star sign and your personality. That's why you're asked for a b-day when you talk to one. In short, they aren't good because it does more to stress you out than put you at ease and it's time and/or money out of your pocket. They see money in their future..... yours!

In short, if a psychic can cause you to focus so much energy into one thing that when it does come to pass, it's not because the psychic said it, it's your own doing.

If you are around someone with this gift 24/7 you will know this gift given to some is for real. She would do100 amazing un-believable things every day. If I wrote a book about the things she has done, no one would believe. You had to be there!

They are subject to Sturgeon's Law. Science fiction writer Theodore Sturgeon was once asked by a reporter why 90% of all science fiction is such BS. He replied that it was because 90% of everything is BS. This came to be known as Sturgeon's Law. Many years ago, when I spoke to him at a science fiction convention in San Francisco, I asked him whether 95% might be more accurate these days (late 1970s), and he agreed that it was. Lately my estimate is 99%.

However, that leaves one percent which are good. And they are. How and why they are I will leave to your speculation. I have read Tarot cards for some 35 years, and generally people exclaim about how helpful it has been. I would have to write a rather lengthy book to explain why I think this is so, and frankly, I have better things to write.

When a psychic ability is used for good without monetary reward then it is a good thing. If monetary reward is the motive for using psychic abilities it becomes corrupt.

They are bad, because they are frauds who try to make money from nonsense. Some sell books, some charge big fees for consultations, and some have telephone hotlines that cost money. They should all be arrested.

Regardless of what your silly bible says, psychics have been used to solve numerous cold cases and find evidence that normally would have been overlooked. This, my friends, is good despite what apparent hatred you have for people who don't share your beliefs.
