time is just a theory. The time theirom. It's their so we can relate to each other. I'm 20 your 20: great. It's how we measure how old we look. Old ppl look older than me or you. But, we need a way to measure it. Everytime the Earth goes around the sun entirley that's a year. And a number is added to r person. Yes it is a number. But, like when ur 14 u wouldn't date somebodyh whose 16 or 17, 2-3 yrs difference. But, once u get into your 20ies it doesn't matter anymore. 25 to 28 doesn't seem much of a big deal. But, time is a number so we can keep track.

I'd say yes if your both over 18!

I'm 22 and my b/f is 34!! And we've both never met anyone more on each others wave length! But a previous posters right... I have quite adult tastes and my b/f is really young at heart. Like I hate going out and getting drunk at clubs and stuff which most people my age do. And my b/f has a silly sense of humour which most people would have grown out of by now!! For example hes always hiding in the wardrobe and jumping out and giving me a fright!

The age difference will cause problems too though at some point! Like when do we have kids? Younger than I planned or older than my boyfriend planned? But Love concurs all!!

I think it depends on the age of the people involved and the difference in age between them. For example a 10 year difference isn't a big deal if the people involved are 30 or 40...but it is a big deal when the ages are 16 and 26. There are huge differences in maturity levels at those ages. Just depends, but a few years shouldn't be a big deal. =)

I do believe age is just a number, unless of course your partner is under the age of 16 and you are over the age of 18. There are laws against that...

But other than that, you could be 20 and dating a 30 year old and there's nothing wrong with that!!!

Age is just number...I'm 40 going on 22..so I know... When I was 17 I dated a 14 year old... She seemed older to me...I turned 18 a month later...We dated for 10 years.

The important thing is how you feel about each other. If you're happy, why does it matter?

Just a number - if we didn't have a number associated with our age, we wouldn't need to ask the question. We would just be people who like or love people for who they are and not take into account their age.

Age is a number but it's not JUST a number. Some people are older than their age and some are younger. It's more about culture, i.e. do you share common references, tastes, fashions, attitudes?

I think age becomes just a number in adulthood!! If you both are adults..go for it. Age isn't just a number when there are minors/children involved.
