I was leaving for work this morning and couldn't find my pills to take them. I take 50 mg of zoloft every moming. I will not be home until after I get done with class tonight which is around 7:30. I am afriad the anxiety symptoms I had before taking the medicine will start to come back since I didn't take it this morning. Since I can only take it at 7:30 should I not bother because I will be taking it again tomorrow morning?

You won't have anxiety but you may feel dizzy a bit - and nauseous. You'll be fine. - Don't double up tomorrow though.

Hi. I take meds too.I am skizo effective, meaning without my meds i can be skizo.I hear voices and see things.I would say no,it shouldn't affect you to skip a day. most meds of the type we take have time relese and have a way of building up in your system for just such an emergency.it wouldn't do any harm to double them up either,so if you feel you should take them when you get home thats ok,I think.anx is hard but,I find if i just busy bee through it till meds or life offers relief im ok.good luck,God bless Erik

Call a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist what they think. They are a great, free resource for that kind of stuff! It's probably fine... most anti depressants are okay to forget once it a while.

One missed dose shouldn't be an issue. Make sure to find it tonight and resume your normal schedule tomorrow. You will be fine =)

just take it tomorrow,no side effects unless you miss 3 days or so.
