where to go?

i was originally going to school for my RN but since having my daughter i would rather go for sonography, giving the sonograms, especially the ones to determine the sex of babies. but i dont know much about it, i dont even know what the actualy job title is called let alone where to go to school for it. would there be enough of a demand for those to where i could get a job in an OB Clinic or hospital. just curious if anyone knows anything more about it! thanks :)

It's diagnostic medical sonographer, and you will have to learn a lot more than OB scans - sonography is a diagnostic medical procedure that can be used to examine many parts of the body, such as the abdomen, breasts, female reproductive system, prostate, heart, and blood vessels. Sonography is increasingly being used in the detection and treatment of heart disease, heart attack, and vascular disease that can lead to stroke.
