Hello! I'm taking a Intro. to Engineering Class. I have a project where we have to find a product with a performance clam that seems to be based off scientific evidence. Then evaluate the claim. I already have a few ideas. But if anyone has anymore, I would appreciate it.

Like I said, this is just a Intro. class, so the project isn't ment to be too technical.

Go out to different hardware stores and check things out. Or go to a supermarket and test generic brands against name brands

You could test 18 hour girdles to see if they really are comfortable that long, but getting test subjects might be tough.

How about strolling through a hardware store or home improvement store to see what jumps out of the packaging at you? Or test appliances or PC monitors that are marked with the EnergyStar logo, and see if they really do use less power?
