I think the release of Halo 3 should class as such a day and all Forerunners should have the day off work.

How can I have this recognised by the state?

I don't know but this is the first time that I've ever heard of "Religious Holy Day." What would happen on such a day?

Religious holidays aren't "recognized" as such by the state. What the law says is that a person's religious beliefs should be reasonably accommodated by their employers. If you have a specific religious holiday that requires you not to work, your employer must make reasonable accommodations to afford you the opportunity to practice your faith. Such accommodations should not create undue hardship on the employer though.

omg so funny. I was on my way back from Pagan Pride Day and saw someone who had their windows pained up with Halo 3 Release! And all this other stuff. I laughed so hard I almost drove off the road.
Gotta love gamers.

Takes a period of time and a consenus of the majority.

Seeing as how we only sold 30 units at our outlet while we liquidated half a pallet of Harry Potter, I think Harry Potter day stands a better chance at succeeding.

OK, I guess I'm going to have to ask. What is Halo 3, anyway? I've heard it mentioned, but never by anyone who did not assume we already know what it is.
