I love how you say, "if you are a public servant...please don't answer". Yet, I served this country for 5 years. I am now a disabled veteran because I served. My father served. Both my grandfathers served. I had family cross the Delaware with Washington. You wish to assign me an opinion. I beg to differ. You can come on here and blog because me, my family, and my military brothers/ sisters granted you the Bill of Rights to stand behind. You say that people who are public servants have no right to make decisions...We pay taxes too.

Sorry....but no where in the Bill of Rights does it say
11. Right to own and operate an automobile or other motor vehicle registered to be operated on the public highways.
Driving a car is a privilege. The privilege is granted by the state once you pass the test and earn your license. You get to keep the privilege as long as you follow the laws related to it. Apparently, you have not followed the law and have lost the privilege to drive. ....grow up.

Sorry, but driving is a privilege that has to be earned. If it was a right, anyone could get behind the wheel of a car and wreak havoc. In America, in order to earn the privilege of driving, one must first pass a written test and a driving test in order to obtain a "driver's license". This license gives you the privilege to drive. If you break certain laws, your driving privileges can be suspended for a period of time.
By your logic, everyone with a brain should be allowed to drive. For instance, a 21 year old who has been incarcerated since the age of 14 has just been released. He's never driven before in his life. Does he instantly have the right to drive upon release, or does he need to earn that privilege like everyone else?
Although the roads are paid for by the taxpayers, and we use them regularly, the actual roads belong to the municipality, county, or state where said road is located.

And after your grand master plan has been put into effect, and your sainted Mother is run over and killed by a "nut" motorist what will be your position then? Go buy yourself a private island somewhere and rule anyway you wish. Until that time, grow up and try to become a responsible contributing member of society. Reality is calling. It misses you.

It's not our "form of government" that's become destructive but how Obama is perverting and twisting it in order to advance his personal agendas, i.e., having the IRS harass non-liberal organizations, turning the Department of Justice on the media to try and silence them, etc.,.

I agree with you....in principal, but if you want it to be.....
Then get the laws passed to make it so.
Wanting it so, does not make it so.
Outside of those rights guaranteed (not granted!) by the Constitution, We are the ones responsible for seeing that any others get passed, and made in to the laws of the land.
So!, Let's get going!

good thought, but they don't see it that way. they do take away your license for being a "nut" in some cases,it would be an empty road if all the "nuts" had no license. society is geared up in most places to be dependent on our cars to survive

Driving is a privilege not a right. No where does the Constitution say you have a right to drive.

We call the public SERVANTS, meaning they work FOR us, but it sure doesn't feel that way does it. Some even have the nerve to put on our patrol cars "to protect and serve". They tell us that our tax dollars pay for the roads, so we should therefore, in my eyes, be able to use the roads. Great, great point!! Kudos to you!
