My coleagues want to go to Kyongbok Palace on this Oct 2007, and heard that it is close. Do you know why? Renovation?

i am pretty sure that it is not closed. No renovations were schedualed other than standard maintenance. It is low season. From the web site it sounds like it is closed in Sept.

March through October 09:00-18:00

November, December, January, February 09:00-17:00
Open until 19:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays in May, June, July, August
Tickct booth will close one hour before closing of the palace.
Closed on thuesday

It was probably just closed for that day. How the heck would I know why.
