This behavior is not a proper response. However,in my opinion, men usually behave this way when they are avoiding someone. I will tell you I don't think this is a good sign that the relationship is going anywhere soon.
I would suggest you move on. If he is interested at all, he will call you. If not, do you really want to waste your time on a one way relationship?

yes, why DO men do this to women? it drives them absolutely crazy ... just read all these questions on Y/A about this very thing..... don't just stand there on the high dive looking down, afraid of what's ahead... go ahead and take the plunge....

may be he change his idea about you, may he has too drink... or he's already engaged with another person when he met you and he changed his idea....but with all this possibilties one thing it's sur.. he doesn't want to meet you again !!!!
