Why is violence so acceptable but sex and nudity is still so taboo ? It's no problem to have violent movies and cartoons ect ect but nudity is so frowned upon.
Does it say something about us as a culture and society ?

Sex profoundly affects your soul violence usally does not.
That is why, and out of decent respect for others.......What if it was your mother sister or daughter who was nude and getting pumped on tv a non to friendly thought.....

To answer your question, yes it does say something about culture and society. For thousands of years violence was a part of every day life, whether it be in wars or personal duels or criminal activities and it was publicly known and widespread. Nudity and sex were private. Something to be kept, treasured and not shared. It's only recently that people recently (compared to human history that is) that it has become a more liberal subject.

Hi there I really find that a good question as in USA you guys accept more violence and here in OZ we love the nudity and sex scenes and in the UK some mothers do have them!!!
that just makes us all different which makes the world as we know it

Imagine a "3 Stooges" short feature, only instead of three kind of stupid fat guys poking each other in the eyes and slapping each other around, they're pairing off with bikini models and showing their butts on camera.
I think we've made the right choice...
