If alive before the 'imprisonment' maybe 1 - 2.5 hours (ha ha!), but if you mean how long frozen chicken should be kept? Then my answer is less than a month.

Nonetheless, I personally wouldn't recommend frozen food; you feel like eating anything, pls try taking raw or fresh.

If your lifestyle wont permit this, then the 'fresher' i.e. 'the less the time of 'imprisonment' in the deep freezer, the better.

I watched this somewhat cool "stable Eats" episode on foodstuff community the different day. He stated the perfect thank you to freeze meat is to place it in distinctive layers of plastic wrap and then a number of layers of foil to confirm air would not destroy it. So with that for the duration of strategies, i might say for perfect effects a month, yet while belongings stored possibly some months.

After any meat has been frozen it is edible for as long as it stays frozen. The quality of the chicken will start to degrade after about 3 months. I know because I used to be a journeyman meat-cutter.

baaaahhhhhhh haaaaaaaaaaaa, some really funny answers! That's chicken abuse! lol

I have kept chickens in the deep freeze for 4-6 mo, but refrigerator freezer, 2 mo. at the most. The key is in how you wrap it for the freezer as well. I always use heavy aluminum foil.
