Waiting for goddo / god is as useful as rotting fish on a plate.

this question doesn't make sense. Christians believe he exists and also has a plan. As they believe there is also a reason to all adversity. Now if you take "God" out of the equation...well, its still confusing. You can't ask a question specifically targeted at a group of people who believe something tell them its not true and expect them to honestly answer your question. But I wonder was that the point? Just to judge them? Thats just sad isn't it.

Well, waiting for god to do something about it would be disastrous dear. That's why many men and women are working hard to alleviate world famine etc...

I was brought up a Christian but no longer practice. The way I understand it is that God gave us free rein to do what we like in the hope that we'd follow him. So if we let people starve it should weigh heavily on our conscience and we should do something about it. He won't step in, he leaves it to us.

If I am a sheep, are you a pig?
PEOPLE can HELP do something about world famine.
That is how God works. His people help. There will ALWAYS be famine. Bad things are a part of life. He never promised it would all be wonderful.
What are YOU doing to help with world hunger? Do you give money? Hmmm?

Any imaginary God, either existant or non-existant, can do nothing about anything.

Well the way I see it, "god" wouldn't do anything because famine would be part of the world that "god" made. So, it is already exactly the way "god" wants it to be. Famine has a purpose I think, maybe even may purposes.

Sheep? "All we LIKE sheep have gone astray, we have gone everyone his own way". Yes, we, both you and me, are like sheep. We have done our own thing. The thing is that we Christians have decided that we need a shepherd and have The Shepherd to lead guide and protect us.
Don't blame God for everything, especially when they tell God "I don't want anything to do with you". He is as good as His word and won't go where He isn't invited. It's called FREE WILL.

Your question is like " if a man does not exist how can he walk"? You are right. Impossible. The question is rather simple is it not.

Oh he exists, and he is doing it, that is what the famine is--a little pruning.
