This is a scam. There is no such lottery. If you have not entered a lottery, or bought a ticket for a lottery, you did not win anything. The purpose of the message is to collect your information, and subsequently to have you pay various fees, taxes, and other amounts needed to collect the supposed winnings. Once they receive your money you never hear from them. Stay away, do not respond, delete the message.

There is a UK lottery - you would have to buy a ticket and have the correct numbers on it.

If you got an email saying that you won, that's just a scam. For the real lottery, you turn in your winning ticket - they don't notify you.

Ask youself;;;

1) Did you enter the lottery
2) Why would a large institution have a yahoo address
3) Are they asking for personal details?
4) Why don't they know your personal details?
