I use frozen grapes as ice cubes in drinks. Fruit juice makes great lollies. Try saturating you watermelon in vodka, then freezing it, cutting it up and adding it to seabreezes.

I`ve tried unfrozen watermelons but I`m reluctant when I`m abroad because some places inject water in them (market places) to make them look larger and get more money but it`s local water which might not agree with your stomache.

Make your own popcycles. Use kool aid with less water than called for to make the flavor strong, pour it in an ice cube tray. When partially froze, put toothpicks in each one. Kids love them and its easy.

yeah.i get stuff in season like passionfruit, bananas, oranges, grapes, manderines and mangoes.
freeze the mushy ones in ice cube trays so its easier to use.
oranges and grapes i freeze whole they are great for summer or dice them and put it in fruit punch or the alco punches they dont leave a watery taste like ice does when it melts.
