You have a lawyer- you are going to be paying him 1/3 of your settlement. Ask him. That's what you pay him for.

your lawyer will request all medical records from your doctors then he will submit to the other company for an offer; it can take sometimes a month or more for some providers to send;

when your lawyer submits to the insurance company, it may take 30 to 60 days for the adjuster to review the medical records and bills;

1st off, since you have a lawyer and have bills to pay, call your lawyer for his advice, that is what you will be paying your 33% of your final settlement for; your lawyer may get the providers to hold off billing you pending your final settlement; once you settle, then the providers get their "share" at the same time you get yours and your lawyer; a lot of lawyers can get a 'negotiated rate' for your bills; they can sometimes get the providers to accept 33% less than owed;

you hired a lawyer, it is the lawyers job to answer your questions and give you a time frame and how to cope with the bills coming your way;

i hear 6 months to 10 years it all up to how hard your lawyer wants to get this finished. If your back at work just after a few months would not count on getting to much money. The best way to hurry your lawyer up is to make you problem his problem. Ring daily for up dates. Send emails letting him or her know of your hardships. Make sure your lawyer deals with insurance claims only. They will known how to get it moving. It a number game. Best of luck hope everything turn out for the best

it depends

it took me 3 years to get mine , because my lawyer advised me to turn down the first 2 offers

if you can hold out i would advise doing the same if your lawyer says to , the difference was thousands of pounds

all the best
