Based on true story:

Girl meets guy on the internet, not on a sleazy love dating site or anything, but in a chatroom where both were in there to "p*ss" people off. She is 14. He is 20.

They talk to each other more and more for 2 years. Her mother doesn't know ANYTHING about it. ONce she does find out, she's angry and bans the net. Yet the daughter persuades her to let her talk to the guy still. They talk for 1 more year. Then the mother decides to let the daughter meet the guy, at her house in front of her though.

They meet, then in a few months the daughter flies to his house in another state. Pretty soon the years pass. Daughter goes off to college in another state. The guy moves to another state and is now working full-time. The two are still together. She is 21. He is now 26.

She's finishing college this year and starting graduate school next year. He's just proposed to get married to her and will move with her after she graduates college....

Unique story or what?

They are still in a long-distance relationship, and are the best of friends. They temporarily dated others while she was in college (brief hiatus) but are now engaged....

Well these internet stories are quite discriminated against. A year ago I met a guy on a wapsite and we had pretty casual chats until we knind of just became very good friends. I decided to meet him very casually and well our friendship grew into love.Alot of people currently look at us like a perfect couple but we are very scared that this opinion of us will change once they find out that we met on the internet. There really wasn't any sleaze involved but it's great now. Plus, there's only a 2 year age difference so it's not that bad.

People shouldn't really think too negatively about these relationships. The internet is just another way of communicating. Keep in mind, however, that there are freaks around every second corner.

Hmm. as a story lacks spice and although it has the whole underage thing going for it... Not sure that is too appropriate for a wedding toast.

It needs details... being banned from the net by a parent does not great hardship make or what sacrifices other than whining incessantly were needed to regoin the lost lovers.

How did they fall in love. when did they fall in love. how did they keep the relationship going. are they in love now? what are the plans for the future?
