I have talked with some on line and they seem to be wonderful people! I can personally say this about the few I have spoken with on line. I guess you could get a few bad apples in every bunch if you took a cross sector of any society! People are people! The ones I chatted with were nice! I liked them!

Perhaps a bit of history will help. If you believe what you hear on the news and media, you would think there is an entity called a Palestinian people, who lived in a country/state/area called Palestine since Canaanite/Biblical/Muslim times. The Israelis occupied Palestine in 1967. The Palestinians want the occupiers out of their land. And of course they are entitled to do whatever it takes to get their land back. No?
No. Here are the facts.
Who are the Palestinians? Palestinians are Arabs. They have no historical, national or cultural identity distinct from other Arabs of the region. Most of them came into Palestine in search of economic opportunities after World War 1 when the British and the Jews began to build up a land that was moribund.
What is Palestine? When the Romans conquered Judea, they renamed it Palestine. Since then, no occupying power ever made it an independent state or established a capital in Jerusalem. Under the Ottoman Empire, it was part of the province of Syria.
After World War I, the area was mandated to Britain to establish a Jewish national home. Instead, in 1922, Britain split off 75% of Palestine to establish the Emirate of Transjordan, as a throne for the Arabian Hashemite family.
The UN decided to split the rest of Palestine between Jews and Arabs. In 1948, five Arab armies attacked the newborn State of Israel. Transjordan annexed the area intended for an Arab state, and renamed itself the Kingdom of Jordan, calling the annexed area the West Bank. Egypt took over Gaza. No Arab suggested making the West Bank and/or Gaza into yet another Arab state until 1967, when Israel was again attacked by the Arabs and took these areas.

I lived and worked in the middle east for seven years, and this included time in Iraq, Jordan, Egypt and Israel.
I can tell you for sure that the Israelis were the most lovely, lovely people.
In the Arab countries, without exception, all I found was hostility and racism towards not just Israel, but Jews, Christians and all non Muslims. It was horrendous.
I was pleasantly surprised, also, to see that the Israelis support the Palestinians even while those same Palestinians are busy sending rockets into Israeli towns and calling for Jewish blood to run across the land and into the sea.
Anyone who has been to Israel knows how amazing Israeli people are. No other country on earth would behave as kindly as they do while being constantly attacked in this w ay.

No, I don't think we are. And anyone who does say that clearly doesn't actually know any Jews or Israelis!
We are like any other group in society. There are friendly Jews, and unfriendly Jews, abrasive Jews, and sweet Jews, and ditto for Israelis.
How on earth can you generalise about an entire country, or an entire religion? It is highly illogical!
I'm Jewish and I also lived in Israel during my gap year. The Israelis were the most genuine, generous, kindest people I've ever met.

I think we all can be rude and abrasive at times, it's not just confined to the Jewish people.

Jews ( Tribe of Judah) I have always found to be very nice polite and caring peoples. On the other hand Israelites ( Tribe of Israel) I have found to be selfish and very rude.
This is based on personal experience with the said peoples.

I have only met about six hundred from my time living in Israel for one year. Everyone was kind, hospitable, helpful and friendly. I liked them a lot. I mean everyone.

Rudeness is directly proportional to cultural difference.
They aren't so rude if you're a middle-eastern.
But if you're Australian Aboriginal or Inuit... I expect you'd find them VERY rude.
