Give me a break. Why don't you go back 50 years and see how bad the environment was compared to now.

I do my part without the government holding my hand. Why do you assume everyone is so incapable? In fact, most governments pollute far worse than the individuals and corporations they try to impose environmental regulation upon.
I also suggest that you do some research on the *real* state of the environment compared to forty years ago.

Hi,i emigratd from germany to indonesia.seeing all the pollution here almost made me crazy,so istart asking why the don't care about their surrounding.i found out the the people don't think,they just do what they personally think is right.all this is because of the missing social education and the missing knowledge.here it is really difficult to get books and those on the market are mostly about business or religion.religion is good but when it doesn't teach to respect...this is one ofthe causes why we have this problems.we all lost the respect.so let's start learning again,maybe it is not to late.

Quit counting on the gov for everything
Where you been much has changed too much

Because people are unaware of the gravity of situation and they dont care and dont know how to solve the problem.
Even the Indian govt. and politicians are totally clueless about the entire gravity of situation, when there is so much ignorance at all levels you cant expect anything much ot happen do you ?

because every body self minded .All are looking about their luxuries but not for health even U&me that is the problem.
n every one asking about others prevention but anybody dint taking it spontaneusly n seriously.In democratic country govt also cant anything strictly because they need support from people n they need votes.
