Icebreakers are pretty easy if you just notice the mood of the bar, her mood, and how she looks.

If she looks pissed don't go near her or her friends. If she's laughing and chatty move in.

If the bars happening mention something about the music or if you'll good with your mixology mention something about her drink. A good bar man can spot a person's drink from its look say things like for instance her drink is a Mai Tai so she likes tropical drinks and prob can't take anything that tastes like alcohol so "You know this place has a Bahama Mamma that's out of this world."

You'll know if she's interested or not in how she responds. If its an "Is that so?" tell her "Yea, here let me get you one." give her the drink get yourself one as well and start talking.

Now if she has friends (and almost all girls do) it gets a little trickier. Sure you can act like the geek in school and wait to get her alone (best chance is if she runs to the bar for drinks) but if your suave enough to coax over all her friends you'll be a shoe in, while the high school geek that got a quick flirt at the bar is laughed off by her friends you'll have a girl on each arm laughing with them. For situations like this get as close as you can at the bar without making it look obvious. You're looking to grab a piece of their convo. Whether it be about ex BF's or how run down this place is anything can help, it won't apply much to your ice breaker but you'll need it afterwards.

You can use the same line as before and offer them a drink while demonstrating your superior mixology knowledge but that can be a bit expensive. Another way to shoe in is ask what their drinking and order yourself one. If they don't talk after your inquire take a sip of your drink and tell them they were "Right on!" with that suggestion. That opens the door for classics like "You come here much?" ect. then use that little bit of info you got from your eavesdrop to get the convo rolling more. If you heard about ex's bring up the fact you magically just caught your ex cheating. If the clubs rocking tell them how great this place is from your usual stomping grounds. If the club sucks tell them about this great place you heard about near by.

The bottom line is follow the Don'ts

1) Do NOT use any ice breakers that remark about her looks. That just tells her your interested and your coming. Big turn off.

2) Do NOT let them know you frequent this place/bar/club. It makes your one look like your a womanizer trying to score a one night stand, two nothings less interesting than a guy that always goes to the same club, three the only way to make it look good is if you know the owner and can get them special treatment, and even if you can they won't believe you.

3) Do NOT make the first move to take your convo out of the club. When it comes to the line "You want to get out of here" either she says it. Or you better have her laughing at your corny jokes. Either way it doesn't come out of your mouth till way after the ice breaker.

4) Do NOT use stupid lines you got from your friend. Your friend gave them to you to use because they didn't work for him. If they worked for him wouldn't he be using them?

5) Do NOT get nervous. Ladies look for one #1 thing even if they don't know it, and thats confidence. You can be a just half way decent looking guy and get a hot girl to talk with you if you seem pretty confident. NOTICE: There is a line between confident and cocky, DON'T CROSS IT!

6) Do NOT offer her YOUR drink. Nothing quite screams roffie than a random guy offering you a cup of liquid you didn't see prepared. Don't be that guy.

7) Do NOT forget to offer her a drink. She's meeting someone new and needs to loosen up. Order her a drink and chat while you sip. People drink to loosen up, let the alcohol do its job and you do yours.

8) Last and MOST IMPORTANT Do NOT get distracted. When you go up to a girl make her think she's the only one you've been looking at. Be nice to her friends but be sure to direct the majority of you attention to her and her alone, not the hot babe who just walked by, not her hotter friend you didn't see before, and def not the sports game on TV. The 1st most likely won't want you cuz you failed with the first, the second won't want you because she knew you just ditched her friend, and the third doesn't know you exist, and for heavens sake theirs TiVo.

first of all a girl you met in the bar is not someone you want to take home to your family. but if you just want a fling ( or who know maybe you can find a girl in the bar to take home to the family) you just want to be yourself and ask what ever comes to mind. don't use any cheese pick up lines that will get you no where fast.

If she's engaging in you... it should come naturally... invite her to a pool game if she declines... she's not interested.
