Then why did they persecute Jews? Why did the inner workings of the Roman Catholics Church, 'elect' a Jew when they persecuted Jews by decree? Not as a few, or one, but as a decree, kill Jews?

Apparently there is a problem with the Apostle Paul teaching that we are "all of the Royal Priesthood." There also seems to be some contention with the offices sanctioned by the earliest church which did include Apostles, but made no mention of one having total authority over all others, and Paul also taught that Prophets are subject to other Prophets. Paul also was distressed by the idea of division created by who was baptized by whom. I am not looking for a violation, and my last one was for an answer not unlike this one. God bless you and yours.

Roman catholics do not have a problem with Paul the Apostle. Most of the New Testament is letters from Saint Paul.

I do not follow the rest of your question. Are you saying that Catholics persecute, or persecuted Jews by decree? I don't think so.

Of course you are talking about years later. Don't forget the first pope Peter was a Jew.
the Jews were starting the Diaspora and everyone took a shot at them.
One of the big reasons the church went after the Jews is they sicced Luther on them and e succeeded in killing off many and keeping their land and money.
Jews killed Christ. Not true
God tore down their temple and kicked them off the land, Therefore God must hate them.
Most catholics couldn't even say who Paul was much less what he did.

I am not a Catholic...But I love the Apostle Paul for his straightforwardness... He was certainly not afraid to tackle an issue head on...

He was a Jew, so that is to be expected...hehehe!

No. It is the protestants who have problems with Paul the Apostle.

I think they followed Paul's teaching over those of Jesus and yes I think that is a problem.
