My husbad and I are looking for a Christian or nondenominational church in the South Portland area. We are in the West Linn area. In our mid 20's. Rolling Hills is too big and the people seem to be going to church to make an appearance and to say they go to church. Any other suggestions though?

You could try Pearl Church. It's in N.W. Portland, on the streetcar line.
It's in the building that Hot Lips Pizzia is in.

Try the yellow pages in the phone book under "Churches" You should find several. I would recommend that you visit a few before joining. Good Luck.
