It depends on what makes you personally happy. Happiness comes from within and your attitude towards your job can seriously affect how happy you are in it, whatever it is.
A lot of what you take from a job depends on what you put into it and, whatever the job is, if you feel you are making a contribution, working with great people doing a great job, you will probably be happier at it.
If you don't feel your current job is fulfilling, take a look at what is important to you, read a few books on finding an ideal job, take some online personality tests and do some research into local companies.
Remember though, that you need to approach your ideal job with the right attitude. Keep smiling and avoid complaining and backbiting. A bad work atmosphere can taint even a perfect job and you need to be aware of where that atmosphere is coming from. Are you sure you're not contributing?

Without wanting to sound even more depressing, no job will give you that feeling.
Any job that you enjoy that much would actually be more like a hobby that you conveniently get paid for.
You are the luckiest person in the world if you enjoy your job that much.......... Unless you work in a chocolate factory!

What makes you happy in life? Then find a job that's similar. My ideal job was to have a desk job I could wear whatever I wanted to. I work at a jail and get to wear jeans, sweat shirts, flip flops, messy hair, whatever I want. That's what makes me happy... so it makes my job that much better!!!

it depends on what your interested in. the pay doesn't matter unless it's peanuts. You have to have something you like. It can be art, literature, science, etc. do some soul searching and see what you've been good at since young OR try anything that comes your way from now on to see what tickles your interest. Who knows? maybe you have an undiscovered skill!

Well I think if you own your own business it will take your mind off being depressed. There are a lot of businesses you can start up on your own. look into things that interest you, i breed birds for some extra $$ and I enjoy it too.

There are two options. Get a job which you like or learn to love the job which you have.
