I am expecting a telegram from the Queen on my 100th birthday i am worried already as to how one should reply to such a thing. Perhaps one just accepts it gracefully , or should one send a
thankyou card , if so , how would one word it.
how would you begin Dear Elizabeth Dear Liz Dear Queen I dont know please help I have no one else to turn to!

Well, Hoping this is yet a long way off, I would definitely send a thank you note, i might even spend big money to have this printed up, I would start the letter with:
Dearest Queen Elizabeth,
I would like to say that I am eternally grateful for your kindest wishes on this, one of the most exciting events in my long lived life. I can not express how excited I was to receive such a distinguished honor this day. To me you will always be the best queen that ever reigned. I, again, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Honorably yours,
Enigmaticj
I thought it sounded good, of course i always think it sounds good, until i re-read it for the 50th time....lol

I would reply. It is the kind thing to do especially in regards to a queen.
I would write somthing like
Dear Queen Elizabeth
Thank you so very much for your kind and inspiring telegram.
I have always adored you and supported your works.
I will continue to think and speak highly of you for all that your doing and will do.

You should address it thus: "Dear Betty Windsor" followed by:
One was overcome with emotion by your thoughfulness on this blue letter day and may I express my sincere thanks. However, I would be grateful if, in future, you could consider curtailing your language as my parents were livid and I was sent to my chambers for the rest of the day.
I am your humble servant,
Enigmaticj

"To whom it may concern" always works for me when I don't know what to put. She probably won't be the one reading it anyway.

I know you must be anxious. . You prolly have years yet to pen this important event, but I say, do it now and that takes one worry off your shoulders.
I can't agree with others regarding the greeting.
This is royalty.it is appropriate to begin with :
Your Majesty
I was honoured to receive blah blh.
