That means you're a monotheist who accepts what science has to say regarding abiogenesis and evolution, but for some reason rejects parts of cosmology.
If you're a Christian who accepts parts of science, then you're still a Christian. You're just not one of the fundamentalist variety. Or maybe you're a deist (one who believes that the universe had a creator, but that this creator plays no role in people's personal lives at all).
Somebody suggested you're an agnostic, which does not necessarily follow from what you wrote. An agnostic is somebody who believes that the existence of God can't be proven or disproven. (Go look up the history of the term if you don't believe me)

If you don't know what you are talking about then isn't too much to expect from others to tell you what you are talking about.Earth is what it is and it doesn't really matter who created it and same goes for evolution. If you are trying to find a midway or a compromise on the two contradictory theories then relax.Your intention is conciliatory and therefore honorable but untenable as far as the search for the scientific truth is concerned. However,I personally would like to live a life believing in what you think as it's free from a conflict.

Yeah, God created everything including the earth. He meant that we should be free to make decisions, but our 1st parents made wrong decisions involving disobedience. This set us to evolving to where we are now. But God is working out His plan to ultimately restore the world He originally intended. That's the mission of Jesus Christ in the world. Ultimately, God's kingdom will be established and God's people will be emancipated and the devil and his people will be put to shame. So you need to be very clear about where you belong.

I think the term you're looking for is 'Creationary Evolution'.
Let me sum it up:
In the beginning there was nothing.
Then, God popped up out of nowhere and said, "GO!"
This is called The Big Bang.
After about a gazillion years, God got bored and touched a chimp and said, "You're my man!"
This precipitated the evilution of man and his inevitable destruction of everything good that was created if left to it's own.
This despicable creature which we shall call HUMAN destroyed all the dinosaurs and every other pseudo-human for the purpose of having it all to himself, greedy bastard that he is.
Sound familiar?
It's basic pagan humanistic doctrine.
Or, you can accept the Book of Genesis on faith.
Love!

A religion is a set of common beliefs and practices generally held by a group of people, often codified as prayer, ritual, and religious law. Religion also encompasses ancestral or cultural traditions, writings, history, and mythology, as well as personal faith and mystic experience. The term "religion" refers to both the personal practices related to communal faith and to group rituals and communication stemming from shared conviction.
In the frame of (patriarchal) European religious thought,[1] religions present a common quality, the "hallmark of patriarchal religious thought": the division of the world in two comprehensive domains, one sacred, the other profane.[2] Religion is often described as a communal system for the coherence of belief focusing on a system of thought, unseen being, person, or object, that is considered to be supernatural, sacred, divine, or of the highest truth. Moral codes, practices, values, institutions, tradition, rituals, and scriptures are often traditionally associated with the core belief, and these may have some overlap with concepts in secular philosophy. Religion is also often described as a "way of life".
The development of religion has taken many forms in various cultures. "Organized religion" generally refers to an organization of people supporting the exercise of some religion with a prescribed set of beliefs, often taking the form of a legal entity (see religion-supporting organization). Other religions believe in personal revelation and responsibility. "Religion" is sometimes used interchangeably with "faith" or "belief system,"[3] but is more socially defined than that of personal convictions.
In summary, it may be said that almost every known culture involves the religious in the above sense of a depth dimension in cultural experiences at all levels — a push, whether ill-defined or conscious, toward some sort of ultimacy and transcendence that will provide norms and power for the rest of life. Religion is holding on to traditions that may or may not have existed since human beings used to walk around with dinosaurs and hallucinate on a daily basis.

religion is mans way of seeking God I believe in evolution and Jesus I am a strong christian but genesis is certainly a simplification of how God created us he knew the end from the beginning it is all in his plan but does not always go just as he would wish.
