"Good morning --- may I help you?"
"Good afternoon --- how may I help you?"
NEVER --> "How are you doing?"!!!!
If it's someone you recognize, it is appropriate to say,
"Good morning - it 's nice to see you, again, SIR or M'am"
(or. Mr. Smith or Mzz Wilson).
This job is, for you, an excellent opportunity to learn Face-Name recognition as, not only, will it improve your memory
but, in a book from the "Dark Ages" (my era), How to Win Friends and Influence People, the author, Dale Carnegie says, similar to: the sweetest name to a person's ear is the sound of their own name. This was required reading when I was a Junior in high school - guess times have changed!
Anyway .... after you've been there for a while, you should be able to say, "Good morning, Mrs. Jones ~ are you here to see Mr. Johnson?" Mrs. Jones will tell Mr. Johnson you remembered her which will give you High Marks with Mr. Johnson if you're interested in advancing within the company. (Going to night school will, also, give you High Marks.)

!How are you? Hello !Greetings These are all professional. Some people just do not answer back when they do not know you. The forms at the end of the question are generally too informal and they probably will put people off. You do not know these people so you need to be more formal. I hope this helps you in your work.

Professional greetings?
Welcome to , sir...
Good evening, sir....
Good afternoon, sir...
May I help you, sir...
How may I help you sir...
Hello or Hi are too casual, if you want to emphasize professionalism. Good morning is good, but in business, you should address your potential clients. You should already know some of your latter suggestions are totally unacceptable.
By the way, don't expect a reply. You are there to serve them. You are not on the equal standings.

I think if you apply logic and reason and just a touch of common sense you will figure it out on your own.
Formal language is, of course, more polite and appropriate for business.
"how you doing"?, "whassap?" and the like, are not polite and sound uneducated.
