I'm doing family research, and the gravestone of one of my ancestors has the following symbol on it. It looks military in nature -- can anyone identify it? Thanks, --Pete

Sure, it's for someone who died at age 49 in 1910, but the stone itself was probably placed there sometime between 1910 and 1947.
