There are certain things we cannot find answers to. Some are much less mysterious than they used to be. However the really pithy questions still have no way to being tested.

In order to stop fussing over trying to explain the unexplainable people decided to give that Mystery a name. Then...oh god!, those religious people got all wrapped up in using the common noun as a proper name and it all just went to hell. Pluto will tell you where to find it.
Or maybe its in the ocean, Posidon?

Things get named, but then the name gets idolized. people think the concept is the item itself. They stop wondering. They no longer see the Mystery. They think they have the answer because a word has filled their mind.

Do not be lead astray by words, or the ideas of others. Search the Mystery of Ineffabilaty for yourself. You can even say it is Non-Theist ( be an Atheist) and still see and ponder the Mystery.

God is the guess of a savage. The concept of god appealed to the fears and superstitions of primitive people throughout history. This insane belief unfortunately exists today. It is a form of indoctrination that has retarded the progress of man kind throughout the ages. Considering the human suffering that has occured through out history, why has the omnipotent power of god done nothing to prevent this? God must surely move in mysterious ways. Too difficult, surely for us to comprehend "gods way"

Jesus says in the Bible "I am the way, the truth and the life and no one comes to the Father but by me."
To get the whole story in two verses,
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not parish but have ever lasting life."
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world may be saved through Him.
John 3:16 & 17.

We are created in his image, and you can't please him without using Faith(the assurance of things hoped for the conviction of things not seen) Hebrew Chp 11:1

He loves you so much to send his only begotton(God in human flesh) to die a brutal death for our sins. Why? because sin can only be forgiven by a holy blood sacrifice. Life is in the blood

the righteous and the dead will be all judged according to the things they have done on this Earth.

Righteous those saved by grace to live with God forever

Dead those who were given the chance but did not seek to find Jesus or care, who sin advidly. They will spend eternity away from God by choice. In a place in the ground call Hell the Abyss with their father Satan.

This gospel of Jesus Christ will be preached around the whole world to everyone, and then the Tribulation will come, this is even another chance to accept Jesus by being a marytr for your new Christian faith.

The human mind has evolved to see patterns and motives even when they aren't really there.

If a chimpanzee sees a rippling patch of grass moving towards it, it is safer to assume that it is a cheetah and run away than to assume that it is just the wind and remain in place. When skeptical chimpanzees are wrong, they get eaten. When gullible chimpanzees are wrong, they waste a few calories on exercise.

Over the course of history, humans have evolved to be gullible and easily scared by anything they can't explain. That is the foundation of religion.

Ummm.I think we need more details for this question. What deal are you talking about? Don't ge caught up in wasting your time/life on the "God" concept. Live your life...be good, do what's right...don't expect more than you're offered! You have a wonderful thing here...LIFE! Live it to it's fullest...don't get caught up in the "hereafter", which may indeed be NOTHING. Don't be greedy! Live the life you have now like there's no tomorrow. Live it like there is NO second chance.

People want to put things they don't understand into a construct they DO understand. Hence the many various ideas of "god."

Do as God says (through me) and you go to Heaven. Do what you want and you burn in Hell.

It is a control mechanism.

"How can you have order in a state without religion? For, when one man is dying of hunger near another who is ill of surfeit, he cannot resign himself to this difference unless there is an authority which declares 'God wills it thus.' Religion is excellent stuff for keeping common people quiet." — Napoleon Bonaparte.

Guess it all depends who ya ask and what kind of mood they're in at the time!

One persons God is not anothers.....that is all i do know for sure. I know that my God is loving, accepting, patient, non-exclusive, all inclusive....and has a very ironic sense of humor! If you lose faith in yours, you are more then welcome to try mine! There's enough love to go around....no guilt, no shame, no threats of hell.....
Just love and guidance....pure and simple.

Blessed Be
