As you are a student, I'll go easy on you -- Annual salary is the GROSS pay you would expect in one year, less deductions. Any expenses etc., that you incur would be added to this salary. ( I was going to write " and you want to be in the C. I. A. -- I standing for intelligence " ). Good luck with the job !

When you are employed by an organization such as the Central Intelligence Agancy, you are most likely paid on a monthly basis.

Bi-weekly pay is tuned toward hourly-paid employees. In the CIA, you would be earning a salary which would be paid at regular intervals, usually 12 times per year.

Annually means what they earn throughout an entire year not meaning paid only once a year. Most likely your are paid on a bi-weekly basis.
