yes, your belly will get bigger because all they do is build muscle, they dont burn fat and actually we cant spot reduce body fat so the only way to get rid of your belly fat is by lowering your body fat percentage which you achieve by healthy diet and exercise (cardio - 4-6 times a week for average of 45min)

the sit ups and pushups and crunches only help make ur stomach stronger therefore more hollow but to lose the fat u need to also change ur diet and eat less than the daily calorie need to do more exercise but it depends on how much u do for how long usually the longer u do them the more u do the better because ur getting stronger the fat has to be loss by eatting less and burning more calories than u consume such as walking jumping jogging some type vigourous exercise. u won't get skinnier of fatter doing pushup crunches and sit ups and dips but u'll get stronger and more muscle bulk and more toned females don't gain get bulkier when they work out they get more toned guys get bulkier because they have more testostrone than females.

Different things entirely. The world's strongest man exercises his muscles, so he is very strong, but he also eats more calories than he burns off, so his stomach is big.

If you eat fewer calories than you burn off, you will loose weight. Or to put it another way, if you exercise, and burn more calories than you take in, you will loose weight.

For every 2000 calories that you burn - over your daily intake, you will loose one pound.
For every 2000 calories which you eat above that amount you the amount you burn daily, you will gain a pound.

what will happen is most of the time people will start to lose weight and then gain muscle and think they are gaining weight again. or the other thing that happens is a person will knotice that nothing happens because they are losing weight and gaining muscle at the same time!
i think? that is the way i see it!!!

I think it has more to do with your diet. Cut sugars like soda and candy, and you should begin to notice a difference. But continue the situps.
