Being humans means we are one the many species on this earth and are superior to most of them in intelligence and exercise of a free will. That places a special responsibility on us towards other species and their well being.Humans are physical,intellectual ,spiritual and some more.

We are perception.
It's not the Universe that gives our lives meaning, it's our lives that give the Universe meaning. Our lives can be meaning enough for themselves.
The Universe, our world is something to be discovered and enjoyed, but without those to perceive it, it's just a lot of pointless chemical reactions.
A tree that fall in the woods does make a sound with nobody around, but can the forest be beautiful with nobody to know it? Not without us.
So we are good for existence and existence is good for us, but only if we MAKE it good.

We are both, without our spirit in our bodies, we would be "dead" but a spirit needs a body to be "alive" I was always shown a lesson about a glove, and the glove lays there lifeless and then you put a hand in it and suddenly the glove can move around. It is kinda abstract but it is the same concept. Our bodies would lay there lifeless without our spirits inside them, we are both(physical and spirit), us living anyway. Us being human beings means that there is a reason we are all here.

we are created in God's image with a purpose, talents, and God loves us very much. sent Jesus to die a brutal death for the sins of the world because sin can only be forgiven by a holy blood sacrifice. We are children of God or children of the Devil. Good thing God gave us a choice.
