Online lotteries are usually scams, and if youhave received an email announcing you are the winner of a lottery you do not remember entering, it is certainly a scam.

The trick is, they tell you you have won millions, but you have to pay them an amount in 'fees' to get the money.

If you pay, you will be a loser, not a winner.

Pass this email on to fraud or computer crime police in your district, they appreciate receiving this kind of useful information and can actually tell quite a lot about where the email originated etc from it.

Best wishes :-)

IT'S A SCAM, REPORT IT TO THE FTC!!!!!!!. I got scammed last year out of $900 and contacted the Federal Trade Commission when I received a similiar email. they told me that international lotteries are illegal and the person is just trying to gain access to your bank account to empty it. Go to the FTC website and look up email scams.
