Each club has its own dress code, although there are similarities. It's best to check with the club, but generally, a tennis skirt is too short. The LPGA tour can get away with wearing things that would not normally be allowed on those same courses that they play.

Leelee316 Honey, as long as you wear something else as well as the skirt and distract other golfers, should be OK ;-) No, seriously now, unfortunately it doesn't meet dress code requirements. On the practice ground? Why not, what ever you are comfortable with would aid, rather than hinder your practice. Any guy who complains on the practice ground, you can be assured his practice is not going to plan! Try a nice loose pair of slacks, you will get used to them in no time, and you will avoid any possible 'peek' problems.

It depends on the country clubs dress code, but you can wear skirts/skorts or a dress. Most places will want you to have a collar or long sleeves. Do a search on outfits being worn on the LPGA tour and you will see that there are a lot of options for you.

Just to state the obvious, the skirts that the LPGA members (and women golfers in general) wear are really "skorts". They have shorts built in under the skirts.

A skirt would be fun. Just wear one with spankies. Wouldn't want to be giving a free show, would we?
