What does John 3:16 say? God so loves the ones that obey Him? No it says "God so loved the WORLD- that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes on Him , shall not perish but have everlasting life". God does love those who obey Him, yes, but if that was all, then none of us could be loved by God- because without Christ we would be separated from Him. God loves the whole world- He hates sin, yes, but loves us so much that He wants to save us through Christ.

God loves sinners and the disobedient, and we have all been in the same boat on that! He *does* hate sin, though, and so he sent Jesus to cleanse us from sin if we choose to believe.
John 3:16-17: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."
Romans 5:6-8: "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarecely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendenth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

No, God hates sin but, He loves the sinner! He created all, why would He hate anyone? Fact is, no matter what sins you have committed, He will forgive if you are truly sorry for the "act." One thing is a fact, He loves you!

“God so loved the world [sinners] that He gave His only begotten Son…” (John 3:16)
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8)
If God loved those only who were not sinners, there would be no one to love.
But He does hate sin. The price for it was the torture and physical death of His only Son… whom He nevertheless resurrected back to life.

if you have a friend, whom are you more attached to, the one who always do what you want him to do, or the one who always contradict you? and if your friend always contradict you, does it mean that you're not friends anymore? in like manner, God is fonder with people who always obey him. God doesn't hate sinners. In fact, when Jesus was on earth, he befriended people who were considered sinners (tax collectors, prostitutes, etc.) because he believed that they needed him more than those who are already his disciples.
The Bible says that the wages sin pays is death. God hates sin because it leads to death of his creation, us. hope this helps.

No. If He hated the sinner, what hope would there be for repentance? Why would He have sent Jesus to die for their sin if he HATED them so much? We are to LOVE the SINNER and HATE the SIN!

He loves us sinners. He doesn't like the sin. He says sins are forgiven. That shows he loves you.
