Minute steaks are very thin steaks (and so can be cooked in a minute or 2). The rib eye will be of better quality, but if it's more than 5mm (1/4 inch) thick, pound it out a little.

Minute steak isn't beef ribeye but if you flatten it to no thicker than 1/4", you can use it. The steak called Minute steak by definition is a very thin steak generally pounded or scored and can cook in a minute. So if you pound your ribeye until it's very thin, you can then use it. It will also make a wider steak once you pound it so depending on the size, you might want to cut it into two pieces before pounding. Ribeye isn't generally used because it's a higher cut of beef (meaning better than what is normally used for minute steaks).
