So he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, THREE MEN WERE STANDING BY HIM; AND WHEN HE SAW THEM, HE RAN FROM THE TENT DOOR TO MEET THEM, AND BOWED HIMSELF TO THE GROUND, AND SAID, “MY LORD, if I have now found favor in Your sight, do not pass on by Your servant. Gen. 18:2-3
Then God said, “Let US make man in OUR image, according to OUR likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Gen. 1:26
For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 1 John 5:7

For to which of the angels did He ever say, "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU"? And again, "I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME"? Heb. 1:5
Jesus isn't an angel! He's divine! Ex. 3:14, Jn. 8:58. 1 Tim. 3:16, Phil. 2:5-8, Col. 2:9, Jn. 1:1, 14

I don't care what the catholic literature says or what man has to say on the subject. ACCORDING THE THE BIBLE ONLY (2 TIM. 3:16-17) IS THIS A PICTURE OF THE TRINITY IN THE OLD TESTAMENT?
Heathenly eyes this isn't question and question but question and answer. You make no sense. You are not smarter than a fifth grader.

YES.The phrase"Our image" in Gen 1:26 is explained in the verse 27 as God's image. Commenting on this verse, Bible scholar Gleason Archer notes that "the one true God subsists in three Persons, Persons who are able to confer with one another and carry their plans into action together - without ceasing to be one God"
The concept of Trinity is clearly derived from the Scripture evn though the word "Trinity" is not in the Bible. I want to point out to the Jehovah's Witnesses that the word Jehovah does not appear as such in the Bible. In fact, Jehovah does not appear in any legitimate Hebrew or Greek manuscript of the Bible. ( The word was originally formed by superstitious Jewish scribes who joined the consonants YHWH with the vowels from "Adonai". The result was Yahowah, or Jehovah.
So if Trinity is not biblical because the word "Trinity " does not appear in the Bible, then by that same logic the doctrine of Jehovah must be considered false since that term does not appear anywhere in the Bible either.

I have no theory. this question, in some form, is asked returned and returned returned. Many Christians say that the previous testomony is old. That the regulations do no longer word to our 'modren' situations. exciting how the Orthodox Jews save those regulations daily. Others say that the regulation is a replicate and its in basic terms use is to coach sin. Others in basic terms forget the previous testomony different than for the areas that are mentioned interior the hot testomony the two via Paul or Jesus. Examples of this might incorporate homosexuality, homicide, salvation and different 'commandments'. i think they deny areas or all the previous testomony via fact to embody all will enhance the prospect of the theory that Jesus isn't the Messiah.

This portion that you quoted in Genesis 18 reveals something very interesting.
We know that whenever God wants to show Himself to man He does so in the Person of the Son..Jesus Christ. The Trinity is seen all over the Old Testament from Genesis and He is also seen and revealed in the New Testament.
Abraham addressed " My Lord".. .. there were three men.. yet he addressed only One as Lord.
Only One of these three men was Jehovah God as seen in verses 13-14 and 22. The Other two were angels as seen in verse 22 and Chapter 19:1.
Verse 22 says
" And the men turned from there and went toward Sodom while Abrahan remained standing before Jehovah"
Later on in Ch 19 :1 We see the destination of the two men..or angels
I'll quote
" And the two angels came to Sodom in the evening and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. And when Lot saw them he rose up to met them and bowed with his face to the ground"
I really appreciate your quotes in Genesis where God said Let US make man in our IMAGE ( not images) and according to our LIKENESS... We know that by the Word, Christ all things were created. We see that the Spirit Brooded over the surface of the deep and that this is the Planning and purpose of the Father Who is the Source.

The New Catholic Encylopedia 1967 says the doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the Old Testament.
Similarly, in his book The Triune God, Jesuit Edmund Fortman admits The Old Testament tells us nothing explicity or by necessary implication of a Triune God who is Farther, Son and Holy Spirit. There is no evidence that any sacred writer even suspected the existence of a Tinity within the Godhead.. The Trinity didn't spring up until 375 C. E.

‘Christ according to the faith, is the second person in the Trinity, the Father being the first and the holy Ghost the third. Each of these three persons is God. Christ is his own father and his own son. The Holy Ghost is neither father nor son, but both. The son was begotten by the father, but existed before he was begotten--just the same before as after. Christ is just as old as his father, and the father is just as young as his son. The Holy Ghost proceeded form the Father and Son, but was an equal to the Father and Son before he proceeded, that is to say before he existed, but he is of the same age as the other two. Nothing ever was, nothing ever can be more perfectly idiotic and absurd than the dogma of the Trinity.’

Why do you ignore my messages? We were suppose to have a bible discussion but stopped after the first conversation...
Update: I answered your question Christian Soldier, so I think you should start reading your messages and respond.
Problem with your scriptures.
--==Genesis 18:2-3==--
Those three men were Angels
--==Genesis 1:26==--
Jesus is referred to as the Master Worker in Proverbs Chapter 8 - so US is referring to him and Jesus, not the Trinity.
--==1 John 5:7==--
This verse was not found in the oldest manuscripts.
Update:
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20John%205:7;&version=51;
Read the Footnote
Update: YHWH has always been in the oldest manuscripts. However, YHWH was removed from the New Testament and replaced with Lord and God.
Adonai is not a name, its a title, which means "Sovereign Lord". The later Jews thought the names too holy to say, so they referred to him as Adonai.This decision made by man, not God. The fact is, YHWH has always been the name of the Father, and early church writings and old manuscripts prove that.
Why do you think Jesus' Hebrew name means Jehovah (YHWH) is Salvation.. Do you think that name is not important
Update: Its funny that the copies of the early church fathers have been adjusted to support the trinity doctrine. The actual manuscripts have them calling the Father the only True God and the only God..
--==Ignatius of Antioch==--
But our Physician is the Only true God, the unbegotten and unapproachable, the Lord of all, the Father and Begetter of the only-begotten Son. We have also as a Physician the Lord our God, Jesus the Christ, the only-begotten Son and Word, before time began, but who afterwards became also man, of Mary the virgin. For "the Word was made flesh." Being incorporeal, He was in the body, being impassible, He was in a passible body, being immortal, He was in a mortal body, being life, He became subject to corruption, that He might free our souls from death and corruption, and heal them, and might restore them to health, when they were diseased with ungodliness and wicked lusts. (VII).

Based on this site, it looks like the trinitarians adjusted the early church father's writings.
Update:
This (quote above) is a Early Church Father, a disciple of John the Baptist.
--==Hebrews 1:5==--
This is asking a question, and it doesn't prove he never called any angel his son. If you turn to Job 1:6, it refers to the angels are his sons.
--==1 Timothy 3:16==--
The word "God" is not found in the original manuscripts.. That is why 90% of the Bibles translate this verse "He" and not "God.
Check the Bible footnotes, they even tell you this.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1%20Timothy%203:16;&version=51;
--==Ex. 3:14, Jonh. 8:58==--
These verses were obviously translated to support the trinity doctrine. The title God went by was not I AM (or ego eimi) it was "oh won", which means "The Being". If Jesus was going by the title, he would have said I was "oh won", not "ego eimi".
--==The rest of the scriptures==--

My comments on Col 2:9 above.
These versus you quoted do not support the trinity doctrine, and the scriptures were translated to support the doctrine.
I tried talking to you about these things, but you seem to ignore me after our first conversation..

III. In the unity of the Godhead there be three Persons of one substance, power, and eternity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.[38] The Father is of none, neither begotten nor proceeding; the Son is eternally begotten of the Father; [39] the Holy Ghost eternally proceeding from the Father and the Son. [40]
[38] (Traditionally, I John 5:7 is placed here, but we have, for obvious reasons, omitted it in our online edition) MATT 3:16-17 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. MATT 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. II COR 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
[39] JOHN 1:14,18 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
[40] JOHN 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, He shall testify of me. GAL 4:6 And Because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

"that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 1 John 5:7"
that part was added to the bible, and the three men were three angels then you are admitting that Jesus is an angel.
