I would highly reccomend taking him to the dry cleaner.....machine washing is VERY hard on those feathers.....not to mention at the dry cleaner he'll come back in his own pretty plastic protection & a hanger!!! LOL LOL

You might want to rethink putting him in the washing machine. You should probabley hand-wash him in cold water orelse the colors might bleed....

Well, I believe you should hand wash with woolite, or if you do have to throw Polly in the machine, use a non-toxic bleaching agent.

You'll have to take him to a dry cleaner. He'll shrink otherwise and you'll end up with a canary.
