ive posted a few questions as to breed/s of my new puppy. there has been a quite disparate reponse over the last month or so, a few(most) saying he is a jack russell, pit etc . he is now 18 pounds and 3.5 mths old. he has grown. surely he is not a JRT, he is too big. vet isnt sure about this.experts, dog lovers out there let me know what u think. just curious and its a bit of fun watching your puppy grow up. i would have thought that he will at least double in size when fully grown. he is dearly loved.see some new updated pictures here at:

He is definitely a pit bull. Maybe a mix but I see the pit bull in his face. You lucked out....they are a wonderful breed to own which you probably have already found out. Good luck and spoil that guy rotten!

Your puppy is absolutely gorgeous. I'd say if he's 18 pounds and only 3.5 months old, he's definitely not a full blooded JRT. He has a JRT body, but his face and his muscular build looks like a pit bull. So that would be my guess, a cross between a JRT and a pit.

Great looking dog!!
I have a pure Pit and your dog has the same traits, his head and face are pit and the way he lays on his belly with his legs behind him are the same as all pits do. I would say he is a pit bull and anther breed bull or boxer mix....but what does it matter? Love the hell out of him treat him like family and don't feed him people food for a long and happy life with you.

All I can guess is terrier-mix. He kinda does look JRT and Pit or Staff ... maybe you'll have a better idea once he's full grown?

Then again, I've had a mixed-breed for over 2 years, and I still don't know what she is! Yours is a good-looking pup, though, so enjoy him!

He's a pretty boy. I'd say there's some pit bull in him, but the ears say maybe another breed as well. Still can't venture a guess as to what though.

He's definitely a cutie. and you're right. too big to be a Parson Russel. (jack's got their name changed officially about 2 years ago, maybe longer) I think he looks like a Staffie (staffordshire bull terrier) possibly a pit mix. he's very thick in the body and bone structure so i think its safe to expect a lot more weight out of this dog :) plus, I love his name!

He has a face like a Staffy X. His marking are more like a Jack Russell dog

i'm guessing he is Staffy x Jack Russell terrier x Boxer .

See this dog=This dog Stella, she shows more Staffy traits.

I see American Pit Bull Terrior in him, also, some jack russell terrier...however that could change as he gets older! Good Luck!
