i would like to work at both for a while until i decide which store i prefer. like m w s, macy's and nordstrom's the rest of the time.

Federated Stores which owns Macy's would consider that a conflict of interest subject to termination. In addition to that, if there had not been the obvious conflict there would also be the scheduling issue that would be bound to occur

No, that's impossible by virtue of the laws of physics. You cannot be in two different places at the same time. If you're scheduled to work at Macy's from noon to 7 pm, you'd better be at Macy's and not Nordstrom's during those hours.

No. It's considered a conflict of interest. Not to mention the schedules would be difficult to coordinate.

very doubtful, Unless you do it behind their back, but i think that would be hard to do cause of how they want your availability to be open. they call it "conflict of interest"
