From the research I have done so far, it looks like there is not any interaction between alcohol and Atenelol. Take a look at this list of interactions. www.sunderland.ac.uk/~hs0dad/profile/atenolol/inter.htm
I also have found that it is usually prescribed for things more serious than just a headache, but , I am sure you Doctor knows what he is doing and he/she should be the first person you ask because this is not medical advise only relaying info I have found online. I also found that it can cause depression, along with other side effects, and because alcohol is a depressant you may want to limit the amount that you do drink. Again, ask you doctor first.

Not really. It's usually ok to have one glass of wine or something but generally it's not a good idea. Alcohol is a depressant and it's just counteracts the antidepressants. I had a BAD experience drinking on Lexapro. I drank 2 BOTTLES of champagne and a 32 oz of beer and I woke up the next day to a mild seizure and the DTs. My doctor told me it was because my liver function was compromised because of the Lexapro and the alcohol affected me differently. I had horrible withdrawals from it. Be careful and don't drink too much.

Yes. But the quantity of alcohol should be limited as directed by your doctor.
