right in front of you, there is no right or wrong path, it is YOUR path. Everyone has their own path to travel down, not everyone can or will travel the same spiritual path, ever.

Assalamu 'Alaikum The path within, is also the path without. One path! Like a two lane highway, traffic in both directions. This is called the "art of the moon" and the "art of the sun". This is an inappropriate place to go into detail, but I will give a short explanation. A vessel is filled with dirty water. A person spots the dirt, and wants to clean the water. A person starts pouring clear water into the vessel until it starts overflowing. As time passes the water in the vessel starts to get clearer, and the dirt is slowly removed. The clear water is forcing the dirt out and replacing the dirty water. In time the water in the vessel is pure. In man the same principle applies, only it is accomplished with the breath. In the Sufi tradition this is called Zikr. Taking in only that which is clear and eliminating that which is full of unnecessary trash. Over time the trash is removed and then there is clarity. It has been said that when clarity arrives it is like setting in the middle of a glass cube, and awareness is observed 360 degrees in all directions. This is the "Point" where the created and the Creator meet! This is a foolish Sufi's small understanding concerning a thing called a "path". The path from what I understand is very narrow, and needs a caretaker to pull the weeds. It is said that the inner will become the outer, and the outer will become the inner. I'm not qualified to comment! **((No two snowflakes are identical, yet they are part of the whole. No two humans are identical yet they are part of the whole. The paths may indeed be different, but the transportation is the same. The breath within man is the transportation that is needed for man to merge with the Creator of all things. This has been passed down through all the Prophets, beginning with Prophet Adam (PBUH).)) "Peace be with you" Salaams,

I'm answering this question late, so I'm sorry if this has been covered already, but the word "true" (to me) is such a limiting term. It gives the feeling that there is a "false" path as well. I don't see this as the case.

And, on that note, who's "spirituality" are we talking about here? Everyone has their own ideas, beliefs, perceptions, etc. about what is "spiritual" that to call anything the "true spiritual" path takes away from all the other spiritual paths that might be seen as "false."

Everything is true to someone. So, my answer is that the path lies exactly where you stand; where you walk. It is within you and around you. It is you!

The Gospel according to Thomas:

1:1 These are the coded words which the Living Jesus spoke and Didymos (twin) Judas Thomas wrote.
1:2 And He said: Whoever finds the explanation of these words will not taste death.
1:3 Jesus said: Let him who seeks, not cease seeking until he finds, and when he finds, he will be troubled, and when he has been troubled, he will marvel and he will reign over the All.
1:4 Jesus said: If those who lead you say to you: "See, the Kingdom is in heaven", then the birds of the heaven will precede you.
1:5 If they say to you: "It is in the sea," then the fish will precede you.
1:6 But the Kingdom is within you and it is without you.
1:7 If you will know yourselves, then you will be known and you will know that you are the sons of the Living Father.
1:8 But if you do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty and you ARE poverty...

Come to the Heart
In simple Light
Come to the Heart
We have walked in eons of seemingness
Come to the Heart
We have huddled weaving our philosophies
Come to the Heart
We tracked the beast and named it love
Come to the Heart
We have seen in endless play
The hesitant hand
In fearful suspension, moved to dance always farewell
Come to the Heart
The Heart is all and you come in simple light
And there you always were and never other than that
Come to the Heart
And you come when all else has departed
When hail and farewell dissolve in abiding Love
Come to the Heart
Come to where you always were
From where you never left
Come to the Heart
Though the path seemed endless
Not one step have moved along its way

Come to the Heart
Journeys without end only seemed so
And you and I are the journey
That only seemed so
Come to the Heart

Syllogism:

A) Our Father who are in heaven... so God is in heaven;

B) The kingdom of heaven is within you according to Jesus

Therefore: God is within you.

The true spiritual path is one you take within rather than seeking anything spiritual in the outside world which is
a creation of your beliefs and an illusion...

Directly under your feet sunman. Whichever path you tread along is the path that YOU were meant to follow. We EACH have a different path and for each of us it too, is the true path. All you have to do is walk it and head in the forward dirrection and you WILLL reach your goal. some paths are direct, others follow winding and convoluted ways but ALL are correct and proper for the person walking them.

The questioner has asked previous and present one questions which are related with each other in the sense of Spirituality. In the study of the spiritual literature,we come accross many contradictory statements, confusing expressions, and multiple paths for self relization. In such suitation,we retain the faculty of mind to arrive at conclutions about transcendental phenomena, which itself is a contradiction.A relative faculity of the human mind can not serve to comprehend an absolute phenomenon. Such fragmetary information one is tempted to form opinions which are invariably flawed and away from reality Such inquery takes birth a duality between "me"(individual self) and my Lord Brahman(the universal Self).Self is incomplete as long as this duality lasts. In spiritual insight, one pulls down the barrier of duality and accordingly true spiritual path lies between "me"(individual self) and my "Lord"(the Universal Self). This is called as"Mahavakya" and true spirituality lies as stated. I am very much thankful to the questioner to put his spirit in the form of questions asked and provides us a chance to remain with the questioner for a short period.

for that answer you have to understand the purpose of the spirit... nature does indeed evolve and it improves things as we go along.... all things on earth emits information that is read or understood... through time humans have refered to this as spirit. messages that we emit are saying to nature " this is good" and "this makes me sick" and "this makes me well" it's a continuous cycle... through this information nature corrects and balances... the introduction of religion is destroying this link betweern humans and nature how ever.. so today we see that the trees, animals and insects, birds and fish are all healing but the human race is getting sicker because they are filling their spirit with religious rhetoric...

nature is the purpose nature and relgions don't mix... therefore the only true spiritual path if you are looking for peace and balance is nature... humans will start getting more and more ill... and as nature is healing people will be able to attribute their illness to religions they are practicing... it's comming... we are in year 5 of nature's healing and once nature is balanced that will be very clear

"For me there is only traveling on paths that have heart, on any path that may have heart. There I travel, and the only worthwhile challenge is to traverse it's full length. And there I travel, looking, looking, breathlessly". {Don Juan}

Edit: One must know the Eagle to do that, it has one terrible eye that is hard to look at, as you know. ~ : )

In the heart, Sunman....

in the open and ready heart, no matter the situation, no matter the perceived cost

it is not the only way, but when the awareness resides there, emanates from there, it is the sweetest and most illuminating way....

piercing, insistent, vulnerable and so astonishingly rewarding
