ok. i was wondering if i can buld something to make power? like power from sun or rain or whatever.

You can not "make" power. You can only convert it from one form to another.

You can generate power from many forms. First you have to ask the question what is it that requires some action then you can solve what form of power is needed. For example if you want to mill grain you don't need to make electricity , a simple windmill will work.

Make a magnet move over a wire. You'll get current which can be used to make power (power is current multiplied resistance).

what you are talking about is a GENERATOR. You can build anything you set your mind to--just remember, before the generator can generate power, something must power the generator.

yes, if you're pertaining to what is called generator. you can't build power, you generate it. a generator needs a prime mover (ex: diesel engine, steam turbine, wind turbine, etc) before it can create electrical energy. you can generate electrical energy from the sun using solar cells.
