Sounds good. You'll be the one of the million girls who gave up on love when things went wrong.

Sometimes you just have to open up to people. Sometimes being shy is what is keeping people away because they don't know how you feel and they might think you will not talk to them. You shouldn't give up on love though, love can be great sometimes, when you find the right one. And honey, if you open up to people I'm sure that you will find a guy who is really good for you. I'm sure there are plenty of guys out there who have seen how cute you are but are afraid to approach you because you may think you are shy but they might view you as intimidating because they never get a chance to talk to you. It isn't that hard, just smile at people sometimes in a friendly way, that way they know you are friendly and they will be able to come up and approach you, also that gives you the advantage because you won't have to approach them. Good luck and I'm sure you will find a guy for you, don't give up on love yet. And remember there are plenty of guys out there, some are really shy too, just talk to some people and you'll meet some really cool people

It wouldn't be a bad idea to wait until your twenties! :) Just kidding... I know 16 is the time for boyfriends. I had a boyfriend at 16 and it was just such a confusing time for me. I thought I was so grown up, looking back on it now, I wish I would have just spent my time at the mall with my friends, or just tried harder at school instead of being with my bf. I'm not saying to avoid boys, just don't rush it. Concentrate on what makes you a sweet girl and continue being the girl everyone likes, eventually you'll catch the eye of a sweet guy who wants to get to know you :)

yup that was totally me a few years ago. Most guys are scared to approach attractive ppl, especially if they're shy (thats what I've heard). Just try to be a little more friendly, give hints sometimes! It'll increase the chances =P

I'm 18 years old. A senior in High School. I've given up a long time ago. Girls seem to have no interest in me. I've asked many girls out, but I was never successful.
I'm also very shy. Girls have went up to me once and told me I'm sexy. A girl asked me to the prom last year, but I told her I'm too old.
Do you want to be friends? Just email.

I didn't date until college, and then i made up for lost time. I had lots of boyfriends in college and it seemed like the more guys the more guy problems. Enjoy being single and care free for now, you'll have tons of guys chasing after you soon enough.

i never dated in high school, mostly because i was shy and i came from a small town. but then when i went to university i had lots of dates without even trying. don't worry about it, you've got plenty of time.
