Like would it be unhealthy if I added 1 teaspoon of brown sugar in my camomile? I usually have camomille like 2-3 times a week. Is it unhealthy?

No. The best sugar you could use is "raw sugar." But white sugar is the worst you can use. It is made white by a bleaching process. Brown sugar can be refined sugar that is has some of the residual molasses color left in it, or it can be refined white sugar with molasses added to it for color. Your safest sugar is the raw sugar. If you want a healthy sweetener I recommend honey. There is even dried honey, it is in a powder form, more like sugar crystals. If you are interesting in learning more about raw sugar:

The absolutely worst thing you could use is an artificial sweetner. Stay away from it, it's absolute rubbish. Sucralose, though derived from sugar is also garbage. Stick to the honey and the sugar, and if you want healthier, raw honey.

Brown sugar is just refined white sugar plus molasses. You might want to try turbinado (raw) sugar, evaporated cane juice, or Sucanat (SUgar CAne NAtural). Look for organic sugars at your natural foods store. I don't use honey, but there's a sweetener called agave nectar that has a low glycemic index and is said to be safe for diabetics.

Chamomile infusion (it's technically not a tea, but an herbal infusion) is fine as long as you're not allergic to any of the family of plants to which it belongs. It's very good for relaxation.

Brown sugar is just granulated white sugar with added molasses. It does contain a small fragment of minerals, but since you're not ingesting large amounts at any one time, the effects are slim to none. Brown sugar= white sugar, and unless you're allergic, it's only a small amount of added calories. Good luck!

Its not really any more or less healthy than plain sugar. Same "side effects"
