An employer, relative or friend will act as sponsor to shoulder your expenses in UK. They will be required to file a bond if necessary. To be sure, ask the British Embassy in your country.

It depends. Just having someone prepared to sponsor you doesn't help - you need to show you qualify under the Immigration Rules as a spouse / dependant relative etc, or as a student, or under the ancestry rules, or with a work permit or HSMP visa.

Where are you from? What are your qualifications, your nationality, your parents' and grandparents' nationalities?

Why do you want to come here, it is full of Asian and African immigrants, violence against them is very bad, in Scotland over the weekend two Asian/black teenagers were stabbed because of their colour?? unemployment is very high with low wages for those who are working, housing is bad, so why would anyone want to come here and as for sponsors that is for people who can put something into the country, with a trade.

Try the MI5 webpage.Leave your email address, phone number and post a photgraph if asked to do so. A set of fingerprints and a DNA report must also be on hand if needed.
In other words try writing to the Home Office and get their advice.

Tracie if you are coming here to work you will be welcomed but if you are coming here to sponge/pounce off the british people dont come,we have enough already.I know it sounds harsh but thats the truth of the matter we have become the dumping ground from france, they let everybody come here without checking papers e.t.c c and many people are getting cheesed off with having to pay higher taxes to pay from these people.

As long as you are happy to live amongst every nationality under the sun, come to London. If you want to live amongst English people, you are better off moving to southern Spain.

Why are you wanting to dump on our country? the process you talk of is long and arduous, and with any luck the government will make it longer.
