If you are falling behind in your grades, then it is NOT worth it. Your main job right now is to do as well as you can in school.

If you are maintaining your grades then its exactly what you need to learn time management skills, budgeting skills, paying your own way, and to get a taste of the real world.

When you're an adult, you're going to be working at least 40 hours a week, paying bills, and managing your time to balance your work and private life. Add another dimension of busy if you have a family.

So if its isn't hurting your academics, then it will definitely pay off, even if you don't realize it right now.
